Led emergency module

You will never know when or in places you might break down, find yourself in trouble in a very storm or offer an accident. So, it's wise to experience a basic emergency, survival kit.

I recommend putting your own personal kit together since the majority store-bought ones are filled with cheap Chinese junk that may not perform its intended function in an emergency. Packaging of store kits often says such things as, "HUGE 72-Piece Set," yet, ultimately you can receive 62 band aids and only few pieces of real value.

Often these kits will work little for you personally when a REAL disaster strikes, beyond needing to jump your battery.

As with any emergency or survival kit, you can't be equipped for everything, but you may be prepared for numerous things.

Below can be a nice set of equipment that should serve you well in numerous potential situations:

1 - Medium backpack or soft zipper case (to maintain your emergency gear in)

1 - Jumper cables

1 - Basic First Aid Kit

1 - Quality Rain Poncho

1 - Fleece Blanket - Twin

1 - Quality Multi-Tool (I would recommend Gerber or Leatherman brands)

1 - Duct Tape Roll

6 - 8" Cable Ties

3 - 24" Bungee Cords

1 - Road Safety Triangle Reflector

1 - Lighter

4 - Extra Batteries for Flashlight

6 - Granola or Energy Bars (furthest date out you could find)

2 - Bottles water (take these out just before winter)

1 - LED Headlamp Flashlight (this goes in vehicle)

1 - Survival Knife (this goes within the vehicle)

Pack everything though the LED headlamp and survival knife inside your backpack. Keep the pack with your trunk or maybe in another out-of-the-way place in your vehicle.

Keep your LED light within your glove box or below your seat in a small freezer bag. You may want to arrive at this quick in desperate situations.

For the survival knife I would recommend similar to a Gerber LMF II.

Why a survival knife? Mainly because who knows. You may need to carry out some serious cutting, chopping or even hammering. The Gerber LMF was designed to military specs to perform every one of these tasks.

The butt-end in the LMF II knife doubles as being a hammer and was made to break auto glass. With this particular knife you could also cut a locked seat belt. This knife could be useful if you really need to extract yourself out of your vehicle.

All-in-all, I feel this led emergency lighting kit should last well and give you a feeling of security while on your way.
